THE QUEENSLAND GOVERNMENT JOBS ASSIST PROGRAM

This grant scheme has been developed to ensure business resilience and growth, and the sustainability of jobs for you and your staff. This program, essentially a two stage process with up to $8,000 in funding available to eligible businesses, starts with a $3,000 fully funded business audit to develop an action plan for 2010. The Sunshine Coast is a regional area considered at risk and the grant is typically available to businesses with ten or more full time employees, depending on their financial status. Unlike so many grant schemes historically, this one is not only for certain industries, meaning that businesses who may not normally qualify for government grants have been able to receive the funding.

Chilli have been helping State Government deliver this scheme to local businesses and has seen the direct benefits to the businesses involved as they get clarity, ideas and momentum to do things they have been putting on the backburner for too long.
