I am a passionate kiteboarder from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia. I got into water sports at a very young age. Originating as a wakeboarder behind the family Malibu, I quickly picked up and got hooked on kiteboarding and ever since have never looked back. I do still wakeboard often, mainly at the local cable park however kiteboarding has been my obsession ever since trying it for the first time.
I take pride in the diversity of my kiteboarding. Unlike most kiteboarders riding at a competitive level, I have not limited myself to any one particular discipline of the sport. Instead I train and compete strapless surf style as well as wake/freestyle. I also enjoy foiling on lighter days and freeriding on the windier days.
I am the junior editor for Kite Magazine and SUP Magazine. This not only helps me out a bit financially, but it allows me to make valuable connections in the water sports industry. Video editing is another one of my passions and I have started doing some promotional videos/adverts for some local businesses. I also do a lot of work for my sponsors ensuring they are getting great value in supporting me.
Travel, competing, writing for the magazines and doing video edits is what makes me tick, primarily around kiteboarding but including my other passions of surfing and wakeboarding.
