So in 2014, we were looking to undertake a rebranding process of our marketing material to again be ahead of our competitors in the marketplace. We found a company based on the Sunshine Coast. Chilli has enabled us to use their expertise in a much smarter way. We’ve been engaged with them on a full-time basis to help redesign our brand, and our livery processes, all our material collateral and, so much so that their host our website, and provide excellent support to our people to ensure that we’re ahead of the game with our marketing campaign. Marketing is always very hard, it’s very hard to get a cost value of marketing you won’t see that straight away it’s always a long term. And since 2014, I can’t speak highly enough for the work Chilli has done for us in establishing our brand and helping us grow our brand in South East Queensland and in all the Queensland actually has a whole.
Our rebrand was received very well through the work Chilli did and negotiating with myself and my marketing team at the time. It was a fair compromise about what they wanted to do in a fleet rebranding process because of the footprint with our vehicles here that you can see is quite big, and it becomes quite expensive. We’ve found a happy medium that’s refreshed our brand out on the road and all our material that goes with that to have a unified approach across all our collateral that our clients and customers can see.”
Additionally, Chilli has developed and executed multiple campaigns around recruitment drives, outback educational tours and major events.
With the intent of attracting visitors to the annual Outback Queensland Birdsville Races, Chilli worked with Kangaroo Bus Lines on creating a campaign to do just that. This involved creating digital assets and updating the brand’s messaging during the period of the campaign.
Chilli believes every business has a story to tell and the ability to connect with their audience through stand-out content. Our sister company, Pepper Productions, joined the Kangaroo Bus Lines crew for the 10-day event capturing the excitement with professional photography and videography. This content became the foundation for the collateral distributed in all future campaigns.
The campaign strengthened the brand presence of Kangaroo Bus Lines as a leading transport solution for events across Queensland, and maintained event attendance.
