With over 25 years of experience in the marketing and advertising industry, and the past 17 dedicated to strategic marketing within the creative and digital arena, Danielle (Dani) brings a wealth of knowledge and creative flair to the Chilli team.
Over the course of her career, Dani has owned her own design agency as well as a printing and promotional business, worked in private education marketing, led website design and development projects, and held numerous strategic marketing management roles. She has built her career on transforming strategic ideas into impactful digital and creative solutions that drive brand recognition and business growth.
Dani combines her deep marketing expertise with a results-focused approach, ensuring every decision, from creative direction to digital strategy, aligns with the client’s broader business objectives and delivers measurable, meaningful outcomes.
I love Chilli’s passion and vision, and I really respect that we have been around since 1993. Over the years, Chilli has adapted to every change in the marketing world while continuing to grow and help countless businesses succeed. That story really inspires me; it makes me proud to be part of a team that’s creative, driven, and genuinely focused on making a difference.
I love the variety and creativity that come with every project. One day I might be developing a fresh brand identity and the next I am refining a website layout, which keeps things exciting and fresh. I also enjoy mentoring and collaborating with the marketing and digital teams in the studio, sharing ideas and supporting them to do their best work. I like being involved in the operational side too, helping to keep projects moving smoothly and the team connected. The mix of creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving is what keeps me inspired every day.
I’m motivated by the opportunity to turn strategic ideas into creative solutions that genuinely make a difference for clients, their brands, and their audiences. Seeing a project evolve from concept to execution, and knowing it has delivered measurable impact, is what drives me every day.
Throughout my career, I’ve found the greatest satisfaction in solving complex challenges through thoughtful design, digital strategy, and the use of AI as a tool in strategic marketing and business operations. I’m energised by collaboration, by mentoring others, and by continually learning as the marketing landscape evolves. Ultimately, what motivates me most is helping businesses grow through work that is not only creative but strategic, purposeful, and results-driven.
If I could switch jobs with anyone at Chilli, it would be either Darren or Alison. I admire Darren’s role for how it blends strategy, creativity, and leadership. His ability to listen, guide discussions, and help clients uncover the real story behind their brand is something I find inspiring. Working in that space where strategic thinking shapes creative direction and client relationships would be a rewarding challenge.
Alison’s role also appeals to me for her focus on people and operations. She has a great way of supporting the team, managing processes, and keeping client service at the core of everything Chilli does. Her mentoring and leadership style create a positive, collaborative environment that I really value.
Both roles reflect what drives me most: building strategy that fuels growth and fostering a strong, supportive team culture.
There have been many over the years, but I’m always most proud of the projects where I’ve been part of the entire journey, from developing the brand and marketing strategy through to the business launch and long-term success. Seeing a concept grow into a thriving, recognisable brand out in the world is incredibly rewarding.
“Keep learning and stay curious.” Our industry evolves quickly, with new technology, design trends, and clients’ strategic marketing and digital needs constantly evolving. Staying curious and adaptable has been key to my growth as both a designer and a strategic thinker.
At the gym, spending time with my fur babies, relaxing at the beach, cheering on the Sydney Swans, or unwinding outdoors, camping or fishing whenever I can.

This is an amazing company with highly skilled, well trained and organised staff. They found a solution for my business that I did not think was possible for the value they offer.
