With a background in customer service from her time in the hospitality industry, Maria has embraced her first marketing role with Chilli, bringing her passion for teamwork and problem-solving to the table. Her curiosity, willingness to learn, and collaborative spirit make her a valued member of the Chilli family.
Maria holds a Bachelor of Business with a major in Marketing from the University of the Sunshine Coast. With a solid foundation in customer service within the hospitality industry, Maria is excited to embark on her first role in the marketing sector at Chilli.
As a new addition to the team, Maria loves the energetic and supportive environment at Chilli. What stands out to her the most is the team’s camaraderie—lunchtimes are not for excess screentime but about connecting with the team. From her very first day, Maria has felt welcomed and inspired by the hardworking, collaborative culture at Chilli.
Maria thrives on brainstorming and exploring creative solutions to her clients’ challenges. She finds immense satisfaction in collaborating with her team to turn problems into opportunities and deliver impactful outcomes for clients.
Maria is motivated by the idea of continuous growth. By improving just a little bit each day, she not only enhances her skills but also contributes to the efficiency and success of her team, making a positive impact in her role.
Maria would love to try her hand at graphic design. She admires the creative process of visually communicating a brand’s essence, likening it to applying makeup to enhance a brand’s best features—a perfect blend of artistry and strategy.
Outside of work, Maria enjoys bouldering with her friends, finding joy in the mental and physical challenge of each climb. For her, solving these climbing “puzzles” is both satisfying and rewarding, as it requires a unique approach for everyone. Maria also loves reading, running, and indulging in great food.
Maria finds inspiration in the resilience and optimism of the quote:
“Even if the world went to pieces tomorrow, I would still choose to plant an apple tree today.”
This mantra reminds her to focus on the things within her control, embracing every opportunity to grow and make a difference.
