At Chilli, we’re passionate about minimising our impact on the planet. We’re constantly seeking new ways to improve our sustainable practices both in and out of the office.
Since 2006, our stunning waterfront location has allowed us to make the most of the fresh air. We took the initiative to install floor-to-ceiling bi-fold doors and shade sails to promote natural airflow, reducing our reliance on air conditioning throughout the year.
Our office building recently made a significant advancement by installing solar panels across the entire roof, allowing us to power our operations entirely with renewable solar energy.
The average office worker in Australia uses around 50 kg of paper a year—equivalent to some 10,000 sheets of A4 paper! That is why we encourage a paperless office by storing all documentation and communications on the cloud, drastically reducing our ecological footprint. We only print when essential for reports or by client request, and all our paper is responsibly sourced, printed, and recycled.
At Chilli, we love a good coffee and a chat. Instead of using wasteful, single-use coffee pods, we grind our own beans for a more sustainable and let’s face it, more flavourful brew. Our used coffee grounds are composted or taken home by team members to use as fertiliser.
We carefully select all our office supplies with the environment in mind, opting for the best eco-friendly alternatives. From reusable kitchen towels to dishwasher sheets and eco-soaps, we’re committed to reducing our impact while supporting like-minded, sustainable businesses.
We ensure that all Chilli-branded materials, including our graphic T-shirts, are printed on high-quality, traceable materials sourced responsibly. Before production, we take a headcount of those interested in wearing or using our merchandise and only print what is necessary, avoiding mass production and textile waste.

We have been working with Chilli for 3+ months now on some projects. In the beginning, they took the time to understand our project goals and have done their upmost to bring that into reality. This is an amazing company with highly skilled, well trained and organised staff. They found a solution for my business that I did not think was possible for the value they offer.
